Delete your account and data
This page describes how to request deletion of your account and personal data for Invoicefinito, the Android app listed on Google Play under the same name, published by the developer name shown on that store listing. If you use Invoicefinito on other platforms, the same process applies unless we tell you otherwise in our reply.
How to request account and data deletion
- Send an email from the same email address you use to sign in to Invoicefinito to hello@invoicefinito.com with the subject line Invoicefinito account and data deletion request.
- In the body of the email, state clearly that you want your account deleted and your personal data deleted (or specify if you only want certain data removed). You may include your display name or any other detail that helps us match your account.
- We will verify that the request comes from the account owner. We may ask for additional information only as needed to confirm your identity.
- After verification, we will process the deletion and send you a confirmation by email when the primary deletion steps are complete.
What we delete
When we fulfill a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymize:
- Your authentication record (for example, your Firebase Authentication user used to sign in to the app).
- Your app data in Cloud Firestore under your user account, including: clients; invoices; recurring invoice templates; business profile; invoice settings; and payment settings associated with your account.
-
Invoice PDF files stored for your account in
Firebase Cloud Storage (for example, objects under paths like
users/<your user id>/invoices/<invoice id>/invoice.pdf).
Some information you previously shared with others (for example, an invoice or PDF you sent by email or messaging) may still exist outside our systems; we cannot delete copies on third-party services or devices.
What we may keep and for how long
- Backups and replicas: Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited time while backup cycles expire. Typically this is on the order of up to 90 days after primary deletion, depending on our cloud provider’s backup and disaster-recovery retention. After that window, residual copies should no longer be restorable for ordinary operations.
- Legal and compliance: We may retain certain information where required by applicable law (for example, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations). When retention is required, we limit use to the purpose of compliance and apply appropriate safeguards.
- Aggregated or de-identified data: We may retain statistics or analytics that do not reasonably identify you, in line with our Privacy Policy and the policies of analytics providers we use.
-
Global app configuration: Non-personal documents
that apply to all users (such as shared invoice template metadata in
appConfig) are not part of your account and are not deleted as part of your personal deletion request. - Support and legal records: We may keep a minimal record of the fact that you contacted us and the outcome of your request, as needed to demonstrate compliance or resolve disputes.
Timing
We aim to complete verified deletion of your active account data within 30 calendar days of confirming your request, unless a longer period is required by law or exceptional circumstances (in which case we will explain the delay). Backup expiry may take additional time as described above.
